Dear Ruby
You're off visiting Nonnie and Grandma and Papa Jack and Lacey and Piper and everyone, and Tabby and I miss you! Nonnie sent us pictures of you playing today -- on the slide, blowing bubbles, playing in the sprinklers... You look like you're having a great time, lucky girl. And that was only the first day! You will have so many more adventures and so much more fun in the next few days.
Tabby and are having fun here at home too (but I'm sure it's not as much fun as you're having). We walked to the Whole Foods today (but we did not get any kombucha!), and then Tabby came home and took a nap. When she woke up, we played in her room and outside; we even played in the water, just like you! Tabby wasn't sure if she liked it though, and she kept trying to eat the grass (silly billy!), so we came inside. After she woke up, Bibi came over and we ran some errands. It was nice, but we missed having you around.
The was some big news that happened today though -- your little sister stood up! She pulled herself up in her crib and stood there for a little while! You are going to be so proud of her when you get home and see her doing it. I'm sure she'll practice a lot while you're at Nonnie's, so she'll be very good when you get here to see it. Here are some pictures of Tabs standing.

Isn't that crazy and amazing!? I know if you were here, you'd be saying, "Go, Tabby, go! Go, Tabby, go!"

Hi my mom, this is Ruby.I am so proud of Tabs.Please give tabs a big hug from me. I luff you mommie. Night night sweet dreams. I have to go read now.
She is so cute! It is so much fun to see baby milestones through the eyes of older siblings. It makes those small moments so special, even when it is the second time around.
